This marvelous little owl is
seated on top of a "huipile", a decorative hand-woven native
blouse,
worn by the Indians of Guatemala to this day.
A
symbol of rain, this owl guards against drought and calls to the gods
of the Rain Clouds to water the corn.
This
wonderfully carved horned-owl has an innate charm with his feathered pin-tailed back.
